Throughout my professional and academic experiences, I developed a strong interest in digital design methodology and computational fabrication, learning to use cutting-edge tools and robotics, not merely as the means and ends of architectural production but as a way of engaging with - and responding to - real world problems relating to cultural, political, economic and social change: from the adaptive reuse of waste wood to the future of bartending.

After a lifetime of interest in mechanical design, technology, computation and construction, I graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. I spent a few years traveling around the world installing, maintaining and managing robotic bartenders for Makr Shakr s.r.l (Carlo Ratti Associati) while also acting as a designer, engineer and fabricator for different architectural and automation projects. I then completed my Masters in Robotics and Advanced Construction at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia where I developed strong technical skills in computational design, artificial intelligence and robotic fabrication.
